For me anything is good that ends good. The year 2020 saw me through some tough times, but FAMILY, FRIENDS AND GOOD TIME AROUND MOTORCYCLES, kept me going. Thanks to kotak bank for the zero balance account, and to everyone and everything that brought in enough positivity to keep me going. Cheers to a new year, wish you more S#× and Motorcycles. This is been long pending and had to be done right. All my runs to the beautiful beaches were to line up a brilliant quick motorcycle tour. On 16th morning, we start from bangalore and ride via bisle ghat and make it to Mangalore. After belting some good sea food we land up at gokarna. Post a welcome drink, we park our bikes and take a boat ride to a super spot by the beach. We camp for two days, click star trails, plantains and get back on the road to goa. While the goan festivals are not on the menu, good trails by the beach and the back roads of goa is happening. You bring your bikes and friends, I bring my experience and kickass itinerary. Around 2014 when the #Travelbug and the #Wanderlust was at its best, I got to ride along with @royalenfield and shoot #TourOfRajastan and #RannOfKutch. The true potential of these beautiful machines were to be unleashed to its max over ten days. Breaking, fixing and breaking them again, but all around some good laughter and company. This year saw me riding to gokarna a few times, and interestingly every time it was a different motorcycle. First was the #interceptor650 around may, then the #SexPulse while on the coastal run and last month on a #Meteor350. There very different motorcycles handling the mixed terrain in its own very way. I might be going back there again soon and was wondering if it should be on one of these or a different motorcycle altogether. The long way home on the highway is not my choice, but the beauty that the #Meteor350 is, makes it butter smooth and fun all through. Though it cant go above 120 Kmph, its good enough for the our kinda roads. I had a few close calls just as I hit the KA19 base ground,, thankfully the brakes worked super smooth and let me escape without loosing body parts 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. The bike isn't meant for broken roads or bad tarmac but can manage through well. The bisle ghat section was a brilliant test for it. Two 390 ADV'S and a meteor had a blast of a time. What a fun day of riding it was. Highways, test batch of pickles from @ulricz / @zuzegad, lunch at @anny.arun 's place, the bad sections enroute bisle and the mad rains that almost broke us. About 2500 km's on a fireball and supernova, the #Meteor has been brilliant. On the highway its planted, on the switchbacks it plays along and on the broken roads it slows down a bit but wont shy away. Dont buy a #Meteor coz its #RoyalEnfield and that your great grandfather rode one. Buy it coz its a brilliant highway muncher, can cruise at 120 Kmph all day and still stop and gun out when needed. Also that, I have done close to 2000 kms on two different bikes and nothing has fallen off the bike yet.
