Sirji Kab???

It all started couple of years back when saketh pinged me on whatsapp and sent across the map of kolli hills, with 72 sharp hair pin bends, it looked kickass. Every time he came up with a plan, i  agreed and religiously gave haath two days before the schedule. :D This time too i played the same card, but less did I know shaik and Ramesh  would tag along and drag my ass across. So after a couple of days of planning, and last minute changes we decided to  meet up at 4:30 am at the start of elevated high way,and as planned we met up at 6:30 and with out any ciggi breaks  rode ahead.first break happened around krishnagiri for some idli vada, chai and kesari bath! Thank you mats I am falling your footsteps, Atleast around food. :D The climate changed from cold to hot to humid to fucking unbearable. We took some breaks and managed to reach Namakal, luckily no TVS nor any drunk buggers jumped around and created any trouble. Once you reach namakal the whole scene changes, its

Two hammers where the story around the old Enfields, the Conti isn't the same. There has been a lot of improvements over the years and you can feel the difference when you ride the new GT. She is big, she is fast and she is RED.        After a long night of beers and sherlock holmes, I woke up around 6:30 and was out riding by 7,ya as usual no taking bath or brushing.Whats the point? Its gonna be raining all way through and I am gonna stink anyways. :D.        I havent seen Mahabs yet and wanted to stop over for some coffee and pictures. This was the very first time that I took the ECR route and trust me it was worth it. Starting early helped and I managed to avoid all the traffic and entered  ECR  all excited.Just as i started to gun the bike it rained heavy and cold, i was dreanched in no time and my leather jacket and gloves clung to me like my ex girlfriend. It sucked, Imean the leather :D.       Took shelter under one of those trees while Isaw all those cars and

Viaterra FLY Review

Viaterra FLY Review If you remember about the contest from last month, I won the best picture  and it was chosen by  Jay and Bharadwaj. With many wonderful pics I was super excited to know that I won. I got it on time as promised by Nicholas for my RE trip -Tour of Rajasthan. 10 days of sand. Well its just sand ride for others but you do the trip and you know you want to do it again. :) So I got the bag, filled it up with my gears and found it to be spacious and sturdy. To start with, It can be mounted on the tank, a bit tie consuming but stays solid. Can be mounted on your pillion seat or even on top of the saddle bags. Best thing is that it can be worn as a back pack. How cool is that?  While I took some getting used to the gear and the mountings, I was a champ from day 3 and could get around it pretty quick, My Gears - Canon 7D with battery pack + 50 mm + 70-200 L and the usual chargers and extra memory cards and all that. So, Fly has a small pocket on one of thos

While I write this down, every cell in my body is tired, my eyes are blood red and my fingers are grease dirty. But my mind fresh as a fuckin Daisy. Why? Well to start with  I happened to meet  many fellow motorcycle travellers who share the same passion and excitement as mine.              All this happened around Goa, Yes IBW 2014. Motorcycle Travellers meet also know as MTM was part of IBW this year and brought in the mind blowing and inspiring personalities.   I started my ride around 12:00 in the night as usual, this helps me avoid traffic and cover good distance. Firefly can be furious at times and heatup like  a furnace, night kinda keeps my legs from being fried. After riding for days and miles on highway (600 kms but felt that long) I ended up missing out the turn and ended up closer to belgaum. Was pissed about my navigation skills and decided to cool it off with some lime soda. spoke to one of those  localites and I was promised a wonderful ride ahead. H
