@ktm_india #KinnaurTour was lead by @adventurerides.travel, our man brought in tons of his experience and was so easy to learn from. Give him his cold beers and he shall tell you all the secrets of how and why. #FireFly got a company that she loved so much so that, it brought her out of the darkness. Took her out on a quick ride, cleaned her up and posed her along side the brilliant tribute to 120 years of @royalenfield. Between the mountains and the motorcycles, I found love. The love that kept me going and pulled me out of my comfort zone every now and then. Showed me the world and got me a better understanding of who I really am. I don't now of anything else but to ride a motorcycle and take it to places that finds me peace. While I am packing my bags and heading home, it's only for a short period. Life is nothing but an adventure, you make the best out of it with good friends and good motorcycles. That's what @laalgypsy, @a_nomad_on_wheels and I signed up for when we decided to do a quick ride before the season closed. We rode from Jispa to Leh via the Zanskar route and planned to end it back at Jispa via the key la - Hanle - Umling la route. But mountains had a plan of their own and blocked us at Leh and then at sonamarg for a few days. Like @navrozecontractor once said, places aren't going anywhere, so we made good with whatever came our way and rode ahead. The weather kinda broke me but we plan to go do it again the next year as the passes open up. Many many years ago when I decided to go explore the country, I didnt know it would grow on me. I dint have a plan nor did I see a future. Idea was to travel for a while and then go back to doing something else. Over 7 years and countless rides later, today I celebrate 100 days in the mountains. An experience that you cannot express in words, you have to be here to know what it feels like to be afraid as well as to be confident of what you want. I am still unsure what's around the corner, but with a ready to go motorcycle and good friends, I am sure it's definitely going to be fun. My friends, family and sponsors have helped me go places that I only knew of in map. Now that I have traveled through these places, I feel a sense of achievement. The adventure called #RallyOfHimalayas got over yesterday. I dint make it to the podium as the fight was super tight and the super heroes went on to rock it better. Many glitches at the event kinda brought in many worries, but super happy that the #390Adventure performed effortlessly well. I might need to add some more skill to put the unleash the true potential of the motorcycle. While other numbers weren't great, I unlocked a great milestone for myself, clocked 97.4 KMPH on the batal to Gramphu section. You know and appreciate the terrain only if you have been there. Day 1 went well and we had a blast. Few of the markings were confusing, plus I haven't done this route so overall lost a minute or two. After about 3 years, back on the rally scene. @himalayanxtrememotorsports is scheduled from 7th to 10th and I will be riding #ILOH in stock category and with only dual sport tyres for the terrain. Late to the party but picked up my new @royalenfield boots straight from the gati office. This will go on to replace my quechua trekking boots and will keep me going for the next few months in the mountains. I haven't read the specs yet, but looks like a light weight waterproof boot.
